Sports medicine is designed to care for recreational and competitive athletes of all ages. Focusing on the prevention of sports injuries and treatment of acute injuries, our certified athletic trainers work with the sports medicine team which includes a physical therapist along with primary care and orthopedic physicians. Our trainers also work with student athletes at schools in Owatonna, Medford and Blooming Prairie, as well as Owatonna Express Hockey Club team members, providing care and teaching prevention of athletic injuries.

Our clinical services are available with a referral from a physician, physician's assistant or nurse practitioner. As part of Owatonna Hospital, we are a Blue Cross Blue Shield Preferred Provider.
