Back to Owatonna Hospital

Art rendering of people walking around the main entrance of the new hospital.

Owatonna Commons

As you enter the hospital, you’ll immediately feel at home in the Owatonna Commons, an entrance that feels more like a living room than a traditional hospital. This roomy space allows patients and visitors easy access to high-traffic areas, such as the retail pharmacy, gift shop and admissions.

The art rendering here shows how one portion of the indoor walking path, which starts at the entrance, could look inside the new Owatonna Hospital.

  Key Benefits:
1. Welcoming, home-like setting reduces stress
2. Overstuffed chairs make the waiting area comfortable and inviting
3. Roomy environment provides smooth access to high-traffic areas such as the pharmacy and admissions
4. Naturescapes and artwork provide calming influence
5. Floor to ceiling glass provides a bright, attractive entrance
6. Indoor walking path provides safe, climate-controlled setting for year-round preventative and rehabilitative care
