Public invited Pink Pantry Coffee & Gift Shoppe Open House at Owatonna Hospital
OWATONNA, Minn. 05/03/2010--The Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary invites you to the Pink Pantry Coffee & Gift Shoppe Open House Friday, May 14 from 9 a.m. – 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, May 15 from 9 a.m. – 1 p.m. at the Owatonna Hospital, 2250 NW 26th Street.
Enjoy a 10 percent discount from a wide selection of unique pottery, jewelry, novelty items, greeting cards, baby gifts and hand-sewn items. Discount does not apply to fresh flowers, magazines or food. Costa’s Candies, Custom Coffee, Dunn Bros. and Four Seasons will be offering complimentary samples of coffee and specialty treats. "We invite everyone in the community to stop out and experience our newly expanded Pink Pantry Coffee & Gift Shoppe," said Ronda Christenson, Pink Pantry Coffee Food/Buyer. The Pink Pantry Coffee & Gift Shoppe is staffed by volunteers. Since 1957, the Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary has been raising funds for unbudgeted hospital items, such as extra-wide wheelchairs, special eye surgery carts and pediatric resuscitation carts. In addition, they provide scholarships for students in nursing and health-related fields. Last year alone, Owatonna Hospital Auxiliary volunteers who donated more than 22,000 hours of time to help enhance the care offered to patients and their families.
The new Owatonna Hospital opened Friday, Oct. 16, 2009, and was built using evidence-based design principals to reduce the potential for errors, improve patient and staff safety, minimize stress and fatigue, increase efficiency and improve patient outcomes.
