Molly Pirjevec joins Owatonna Hospital as manager of Development and Community Engagement
OWATONNA, Minn. 07/08/2010--Molly Pirjevec has been named the manager of Development and Community Engagement at Owatonna Hospital. With more than 20 years of experience in the non-profit sector, she will be responsible for managing the hospital’s philanthropy activities, as well as partnering with area communities and residents to support their vision for health that focuses on environmental changes, policies and more that promote healthy, active living.
Prior to joining Owatonna Hospital, Pirjevec was a senior development associate with Abbott Northwestern Hospital’s Foundation, part of Allina Hospitals & Clinics. While there she was responsible for managing annual and major giving campaigns. Other past experiences include serving as a development specialist and officer with Allina Hospitals & Clinics and Allina Home & Community Services.
Pirjevec’s educational background includes a bachelor or arts degree from Hamline University, St. Paul. She is active in several community organizations including Families with Children from Asia Midwest Chapter, Girl Scouts and a Children’s Dance Theater.
She is planning to relocate to Owatonna with her two daughters, Mary-Grace and Liza.
