5th Annual Allina Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care GalaNearly 300 guests filled the McNamara Alumni Center for the 5th Annual Allina Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care Gala to enjoy a delicious dinner catered by D’Amico and fantastic live and silent auctions. The program honored Mary Beth Wedum of the J.A. Wedum Foundation and former AHHPC Medical Director, Dr. James “Seamus” McKenna for their generous and steadfast support of Allina Home Care, Hospice & Palliative Care. In addition to the over $125,000 that was raised to support the construction of a new residential hospice in the Twin Cities, Mary Beth Wedum announced the J.A. Wedum Foundation’s commitment to a $2 million challenge grant to fund the facility in memory of her husband, John A. Wedum, who was a patient in AHHPC’s hospice program. Thank you to all who made the evening a success and moved us closer to the goal of constructing the J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice! We hope to see you next year! Dedication of Stones Ceremony
